Pamporovo

Pamporovo is located on approx. 1650 m above sea level in the Perelik range of the Western Rhodopi in one of the most beautiful places of the Orpheus mountain.

The specific combination of natural conditions makes the resort beautiful in summer and in winter alike - the large spruce forests, pictur- esque meadows, strange rocky forms (the Orpheus rock and others), beautiful high peaks - Snejanka (1925), Murgavetz (1858), Orleto etc. The mountain where Pamporovo is located is composed of marble that drains the water and dries the whole region. The hill has a hunchbacked form and is very airy so the air is always fresh.

Due to the influence of the Mediterranean climate the tem- peratures in the resort have small daily variations. The surrounding high peaks keep it from the winds and in winter preserve the snow cover on the Northern slopes of the Snejanka and Murgavetz peaks. The area is abundant in natural slopes where many ski slopes have been built with different category of difficulty, served by sophisticated technical equipment. The resort offers 5 chair lifts, 13 tow-lifts and 17.500 meters of alpine ski-tracks.

All ski runs are safe guarded and maintained in a very good condition. More than 100 highly qualified ski instructors fluent in different languages are here to teach both beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. Ski rentals are available near the ski runs and the lift stations, you can book ski equipment rental, ski school, lift pass with us.

The ski runs in Pamporovo come in all hardship levels. They are located between 1926 and 1450 m above the sea level on the northern, eastern and western slopes of The Snejanka peak.
Amost all hotels have restaurants and day bars. Different types of restaurants and places to eat are available in the resort and near the ski pistes. Read more on restaurants and more on night life.
